Dr. Erica Schneider

Dr. Erica Schneider is a dedicated and highly skilled pulmonologist serving the Mechanicsville, Virginia community. A proud graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine, she brings over a decade of expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions such as asthma, interstitial lung disease, and aiding in cancer diagnosis. In 2015, she relocated to Richmond for her fellowship, where she found a deep connection with the community and committed herself to advancing pulmonary care through a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

“My greatest fulfillment comes from empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to navigate their daily lives more comfortably,” Dr. Schneider said. Her passion for patient education and improving quality of life is at the heart of her practice, guiding her commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Outside of her medical work, Dr. Schneider enjoys spending quality time with her children, nurturing her garden, and indulging in baking. In 2022, she co-founded Virginia Lung alongside her partners, dedicated to providing innovative, patient-centered pulmonary care for years to come.
