Dr. Prema Pamireddy
Dr. Prema Pamireddy is a board-certified pulmonologist with over a decade of experience diagnosing and managing complex lung conditions. She brings a deep commitment to patient-centered care, combining advanced clinical skills with a calm, thoughtful approach that puts patients at ease. Her work spans outpatient, inpatient, and procedural pulmonary medicine, with expertise in bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and ventilator management.
Dr. Pamireddy earned her medical degree from NTR University in India and completed both her internal medicine residency and pulmonary fellowship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She has held leadership roles across Virginia, including serving as Clinical Director for Bedford and Gretna Pulmonology Centers, where she helped establish and expand access to respiratory care.
Her clinical interests include COPD, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer diagnostics, and she is highly skilled in advanced bronchoscopic techniques, including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy. Dr. Pamireddy is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of evidence-based care.
